Bulgaria in 2007 was welcomed by European Union as its new satelite. Todays atributes of this organization are democracy, negotiation, and collective decision-making so this gives wide opportunity for Bulgaria. With opening of EU markets Bulgarian economy will have a chance for quick and success growth. Phare provided huge sum of money into Bulgaria as compensaation for dismantle and close the Kozloduv nuclear power plant. But still like other former member of Soviet block Romania, Bulgaria has some difficult problems like crime and corruption.
